If you recently did any changes to your WordPress site like moving hosts or changing domains, you might be getting some nasty looking errors that are even preventing you from logging into your site.
Here’s how to easily fix it.
After reading endless confusing posts on how to edit config settings, we found the best solution according to the author of this plug in is to manually uninstall it by deleting some files.
You can read it here. Skip past to If all else fails and your site is broken
If you need some more help read this.
You will need to FTP into your WordPress site.
Step 1
In step 1 you need to download wp-config.php file which is on the top root (first directory of your WordPress)
Download this file in 2 places and only edit 1 of them. That way you have a backup.
Look for the 2 lines they mention that you need to delete, they both end with // Added by WP-Cache Manager
Dont worry about step 2
Step 3
Look in wp-content/plugins and delete the wp-super-cache folder
Skip step 4
You should be able to login now.
If you want to reinstall this plugin…
You may see the errors again, uninstall the plugin with the WordPress Dashboard. It should now cleanly delete and you can re install again.
After installing Super Cache again you may want to delete the cache completely by going into Super cache settings.
