One of the single most important settings on any mobile device is the LOCATIONS or GPS setting.
Anytime you hear an app is eating up your battery on a phone it’s not by mistake. It’s probably because it’s tracking your every move in real life by GPS. And guess what? You gave it permission to do it! Actually it came defaulted and you never turned it off.
So on iPhone the first thing to do and regularly you need to check is in SETTINGS, PRIVACY, LOCATION SERVICES.
Now your first instinct might be to just turn it off but Maps will really be useless without it. Instead TAKE CONTROL. Leave it on but turn it off for most everything, ESPECIALLY Facebook and photos.
Now your apps are not tracking you. When you upload photos you won’t be sending your location either. Why? Because photos are no longer meta data rich with where you are and when you were there.
