STEP 4 – Touch the Email button

STEP 9 – Check the IMAP server field. Again it will fill in an incorrect default imap.domain.com. Hostgator uses mail.domain.com, so be sure and change it.
STEP 10 – For the Security type choose SSL (Accept all certificates) and your port should change to 993
STEP 11 – Touch the NEXT button

STEP 17 – If you made it to the Account options your almost done.
Here you can set how many emails you want to have on your device. All of them or for a select number of weeks.
The best option is All unless your device is short on storage space. You can always change this later. Emails that don’t show on your device are always safe on the server.
STEP 18 – Set the Sync schedule to choose how often your device checks for new mail. Don’t forget you can always manually check too. The default 15 minutes is a good place to start and you can always change this later.
STEP 19 – Touch the Next button.
STEP 20 – Your account is setup, you have the option of naming this account, for example Work email and also how your name is displayed to the recipient of the email.
Touch Done and start using your email.
